The foliage and growth are similar to that of a Portland Rose, with the typical Portland widely-spaced leaflets. It forms a medium sized shrub which is robust and free flowering

The flowers are initially Tea-scented but often develop a wonderful combination of sauterne wine and strawberry

There is a fresh Tea Rose fragrance, with a cool violet character typical of its colour group

The colour is orange and becomes more pink-apricot until dark pink.
